Immediately! Once you download the app and complete the quick setup, you can start creating your first character right away. Most users generate their first complete character—including backstory, attributes, and artwork—in just 2-3 minutes. There's no steep learning curve, and you don't need any prior experience with AI tools or character design.

Creating a character is simple and intuitive:

• Select a Genre: Choose from 12 options (Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Mystery, Romance, etc.)
• Provide Basic Info: Enter your character's name, age, gender, and brief description
• Generate: Our AI creates a complete backstory, personality traits, and stunning artwork
• Customize: Fine-tune any aspect of your character with 100+ attributes
• Export & Use: Save as PDF, text, JSON, or image files

A complete character includes everything you need to bring them to life: AI-generated artwork, detailed backstory, personality traits, physical description, motivations, relationships, strengths and weaknesses, genre-specific elements, and customizable attributes. You can edit any aspect after generation and add 100+ character attributes including physical appearance, personality traits, skills, backstory, motivations, and more. You can also regenerate character artwork as many times as you want and save your favorite versions. Think of each character as a living document that grows with your story.

Epic Characters AI provides extensive customization with over 100 attributes, including:

• Physical: Age, height, build, hair, eyes, distinctive features
• Personality: Traits, fears, motivations, goals, quirks
• Background: Origin, family, education, life events
• Skills & Abilities: Talents, strengths, weaknesses

Each genre also includes specialized attributes tailored to that storytelling style.

Yes! If you're not satisfied with the initial artwork, you can regenerate images as many times as you need. Each generation creates a unique interpretation of your character based on their attributes. You can save multiple image versions for the same character, giving you flexibility to choose the perfect visual representation for different contexts or moods.

Our Character Libraries feature lets you organize characters by project, campaign, or story. Create separate libraries for your sci-fi novel, fantasy tabletop campaign, horror anthology, and any other projects you're working on. This keeps your characters organized and makes it easy to find exactly who you need when inspiration strikes.

Character storage is unlimited on all plans! Create as many characters as you need without worrying about running out of space. The only limits are on daily character generations, which vary by subscription tier (see our Pricing page for details).

Exporting is simple! Open any character and choose from multiple export formats:

• PDF – Beautifully formatted character sheets perfect for printing
• Text – Plain text format for easy copying and pasting

Yes! Our Core (Free) tier lets you create quality characters at no cost. You get 3 character generations and 10 image generations per day, access to all 100+ core attributes, and unlimited character storage. This is perfect for casual users or those wanting to try the app before upgrading.

• Core (Free with Ads) – 3 characters/day, 10 images/day
• Gamers Edition – 20 characters/day, 50 images/day, plus RPG-specific attributes and export formats

You can delete your account at any time directly within the app:

1. Open Settings from the main menu
2. Navigate to Account Settings
3. Tap Delete Account button at the bottom
4. Confirm your decision

We're committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment. If you encounter AI-generated content that violates our policies or makes you uncomfortable, you can report it directly within the app:

Option 1: Report from Character Dossier

1. Open the character you want to report
2. Scroll to the bottom of the dossier
3. Tap the ⚠️ Report Inappropriate Content button
4. Confirm your report – this will include character details and app logs for investigation

Option 2: Report a Generated Image

1. While editing a character, go to the Image tab
2. Tap the ⚠️ Report Image button below the generated image
3. Confirm your report

Option 3: General Report via Feedback

1. Open Settings from the main menu
2. Tap Send Feedback
3. Select ⚠️ Report Inappropriate Content
4. Describe the issue and include relevant details
